How Are Dental Veneers placed?

A mock-up visit may be scheduled to craft through model mock-up or software images what you would like to achieve. If needed we will have you back for a hygiene visit about 5 days before the preparation appointment. This will ensure that your gums are in the best condition possible.
Your next visit involves preparing your teeth for the veneers. Throughout this appointment, Dr. Bagoff will reshape and prepare some portions of your teeth to ready for the veneer. Next, an impression or mold of your teeth will be created and delivered to a dental laboratory that will craft your veneers.
For the next step, which is the permanent attachment of the veneers, dental bonding composite will be used along with a special light to accelerate the process. In about two hours, you will be completed with a beautiful and renewed smile.
A follow-up appointment will be made for the reevaluation of the outcome.
We may recommend a custom occlusal guard to be crafted for you once the porcelain laminates are in place. This will actually be discussed at the initial treatment planning visit.
